Eric Styer, RA LEED AP, Founding Principal / CEO
Eric Styer is the founding principal of DXU. He has over 20 years of experience in designing restaurants, retail and office buildings and interiors. He specializes is setting up corporate standards, development standards and systems to assist our clients in maintaining brand standards and an efficient construction process. Eric worked in construction prior to architecture school where he developed immense respect for contractors and has an intrinsic understanding on how to translate concepts into buildings. One of Eric’s strength is listening to the client and being able to translate their ideas into the built environment. He has a vast understanding of building codes and MPE engineering which has strengthened DXU’s reputation for preparing well coordinated construction documents and securing building permits effectively.
Dave Gonzales, Managing Principal
Dave Gonzales was one of the first senior associates to join DXU. Dave has over 18 years of experience in architecture. He has experience working on large multi-family and mixed use projects. More recently he has managed 100’s of restaurant projects from site analysis through construction. His extensive experience in developing and managing corporate standards has gained him the highest respect from our clients. He has many strengths but attention to detail and responsiveness to the needs of clients and contractors has lead to many successful projects and satisfied clients.
Anthony Volpe, Managing Principal
Anthony Volpe was the first senior associate to join DXU. Anthony’s 22 years of experience has been vast, from beginning in Lucien Lagrange office working on high rises to smaller firms designing multi-family condo buildings and mixed use to restaurants and fitness concepts. He has more than a decade of construction management experience as well. His diverse experience helps educate our clients on the development and construction process. He has never missed a deadline and will do whatever it takes meet our clients milestones.
Jeremy Wilmot, Managing Principal
Jeremy began working with DXU in January of 2014. Jeremy has over 21 years of experience in architecture. His career started with 2 years of educational facilities, residential and small development projects. Jeremy then worked another 12 years doing a wide variety of projects ranging from single family housing and commercial architecture to over 5 million total square feet of industrial projects while also master planning large scale industrial parks. His broad experience in numerous markets has helped him become a valued asset in managing clients with wide variety of projects. With DXU Jeremy has managed the successful completion of hundreds of projects and continues to maintain working relationships with clients over the past 20 years. Jeremy’s strengths in client relationships, project management and successful projects through all phases of development, from concept design through construction and opening make him a valued asset to any project.
Emily Lindsey, RA LEED AP, Senior Project Manager
Emily Lindsey is the example of how diligence and commitment to design excellence makes DxU successful. Her 16 years of experience includes high end residential, mixed use, auto dealerships, luxury interiors and fitness concepts. She has received many compliments from clients, building owners and contractors on construction documents produced under her supervision. Her expertise in the field ensures that the client’s vision and needs are achieved with superior quality.
